The Braided Bracelet, A Semi-Fail.

Once upon a time, I had this top.
I really liked the colors, but the cut was just plain weird.
As in, the neckline reminded me of the ugly dress in "What a Girl Wants."
So,one day,I ruthlessly cut it up it salvage for fabric for singed edge flowers.
But I still had a lot of random ties from the neckline...what to do?
Braid it with chain and make it a bracelet, that's what!

The only reason at this point I would call it a "fail" is that it turned out to be too thick for the ribbon clasps I bought. Saddening, but eventually fixable.

I really really like how it's turned out thus far, though, and will be searching for alternative finishing methods. But in the meantime,it's enough to make me want to pick up some sweet ribbon next time I'm at Micheals.... I want to make more!
