The past week has been a little, er, crazy.
An unexpected death.
The flu.
A best friend home on break for a few short but sweet days.
Excuses, I know.

No worries, I have pictures for you of said friends birthday present, or part thereof.
You want to know something a little sad?
Said friend was receiving present, and after making some noise about the hair pins being adorable, she turns, makes eye contact, and says:
"Betsy, you DID take pictures of these, right?"
Gosh dang it, she knows I'm a lazy blogger.
Hmmm. Must be from our stint blogging together.
